Personal Victory: Develop a Warrior like Mindset

A warrior is someone who fights in a battle against the fiercest enemy. Although by being a warrior you automatically don’t become a winner. You need to win against your enemy. But to become warrior requires great courage, wisdom, discipline and resilience. Not everyone can become a warrior.

The fiercest enemy can be your inner demon, and your personality which is holding you back. To defeat the demon, you need warrior like traits such as discipline, wisdom and living through ultimate hardship. The battle is always there in life. Sometimes in battlefield, sometimes in our selves. But the battle is always hard and requires strong resilience to win. Without it a Man becomes a loser.

The intention of this article is to identify key traits which a warrior possess. We can adopt these traits in our mindset to fight our insecurities, doubts and further awaken the beast inside us.

Hardcore discipline

Discipline is doing whatever you have do without considering your feelings or ego. Even if you don’t feel like waking up at 6:00 A.M but you have to, and you do it, even thought it is hard.

A great warrior owns hardcore discipline. Without it he is weak. Discipline makes a man to take actions in which he is not comfortable with. That’s why discipline is a great tactic to build habits, break habits, and get things done. Discipline makes a Man successful. Because he does the work even if he doesn’t feel like it. His priority is his main concern, not his desire.

To adopt hard discipline, do the work which you are supposed to do even if you don’t feel like it. Such as waking up at 5:00 A.M even if the bed feels so comfy. Getting the job done, even if it feels overwhelming. The work is hard. But upon completion, the reward is satisfying. You feel good about yourself. End journey becomes beautiful. Your dedication level towards discipline is a key indicator of your probability to succeed.

Confidence

Confidence basically means self-belief. It is the belief that you can achieve anything you want if you put enough effort and dedication. It may sound easy, but it requires overcoming a lot of fear of failures and fighting insecurities to gain confidence. Having insecurities is not a problem. The problem is the inability to overcome it. By gaining confidence, A man gains clarity and vision. And he put enough actions to achieve his desired result.

To gain confidence, you must have evidence in your life. If you want to feel confidence with your body, you must maintain a routine workout and diet schedule. If you want to feel confidence with your social skills, you must meet more people and learn more social skills. A warrior trains himself everyday to gain strength, tactics, mindset to prepare himself for the battle. The more preparations he takes, the more confident he becomes.

Pain tolerance and Emotional Resilience

A warrior goes through a lot of pain. In battles, he loses a lot of colleagues, and mates. He has to witness a lot of horror and trouble. Despite all those, it doesn’t break him. Because over the years he has mastered the art of pain tolerance. War is pain, battle is pain. Still a true warrior remains in the battlefield and fights till the end.

if you want to become a warrior in your personal life you have let go of negative emotions, toxic people, bad habits etc. It may be hard and painful, because change is painful. Over the time you will grow tolerance to it. And it can be a journey of you achieving great success.

Courage

Courage is the mental strength in the face of danger. Naturally a warrior has to be courageous. So that, he fights his enemy fearlessly and carry his tribe in the battlefield without any sense of hesitation.

In our personal battle, we must show courage in front of our insecurities, bad habits and impulses. Inner battle is also a great battle. Where some people win, and majority of loses. Due to lack of courage many people fail to Win. To become courageous, at first, a person has to face his doubts, insecurities and problems. And further take actions to defeat those negative traits.

Wisdom

A good warrior has Wisdom. Without it he can’t win. Wisdom means wise thinking, good sense and good judgment using efficient knowledge. A warrior knows tactics, carry knowledges. So that he can deliver a supreme battle against his enemy.

To become wise, adopt a growth mindset. Growth mindset is growing and learning indefinitely in exposure to experience, information and knowledge. Through growth mindset you’ll gain more knowledge, and gain more inner wisdom.

Persevering

Persevering is effort to take actions even during the course of failure or delayed success. Perseverance is a road to sweet reward. Because through enough time and dedication, a person masters his tactics and skills, gather experiences, and learns from mistakes. Patience or perseverance teaches a Man a lot of great lessons. A warrior is great at perseverance, because to lead a battle requires great effort and dedication. To plan, to execute, to take actions, and to succeed, a warrior contemplates on perseverance.
